I was going to write something clever about my lack of discipline, but then realized I didn't know the exact definition of the word. So as I often do, I consulted the dictionary that came with my Apple computer. It defines discipline as thepractice of training people to obey rules or a code ofbehaviour, using punishment to correct disobedience. So now, instead of making a joke about my lack of discipline, I'm thinking myself quite clever for not being disciplined.
A person wonders if her lack of discipline is connected with her lack of desire to do what she lacks discipline to do.
If only I wanted to do what I don't want to do, I would be so much more disciplined.
