According to my family, I say the same thing every year, but this time I think I mean it.
It's just too much. Being "on" for 11 hours a day for 11 days.
And don't even get me started on the costs!
Introvert that I am, I think I'm ill suited for this type of showcase. Also it doesn't help that I was sick with a cold for the first week.
Yeah, I'm done.
But am I ever going to miss it.
All the people that come by to say so many complimentary things about what I do. And the new people who have never seen my cartoons - they get so excited! And the booth neighbours, we have so much fun!
And let's not forget my sister, who is the most generous person ever! Even though she was working her butt off at her job, she came to help everyday! And thank goodness she did, because I don't think I could've made it through the first week without her.
The One of a Kind Show is truly amazing, I just don't think I have it in me again.
But as I said, my family says I say that every year.
Now you got me feeling all sentimental!
Let's take a trip down the One of A Kind memory line with a bunch of photos from different years, the different booth designs, and all the people that came by and laughed. Sigh.
