I have a tendency towards fixation. I become hyper-focused and super vigilant. I see nothing but the thing that I'm going after, and for the most part I get it.
That's good, right?
Not always. Depends what it is I want and why I want it.
Anyway, I got to thinking. Can I consciously choose to only want what is good for me?
Immediately I started to panic!
Clearly I'm not ready to let go of some of my less-than-beneficial habits, but I'm thinking about it, and that's a start.
