This way of thinking does not work.
Obsessive thoughts, demonized, and then acted upon, can not be counteracted.
There are better ways to handle obsessive thoughts.
I’m learning that mine tend to want some sort of attention, usually a kindness.
And then the act goes out of focus, it doesn’t matter, it passes.
And then maybe I have an ice cream cone.
And then maybe I exercise.
Because I like ice cream and exercising when I'm not obsessing about them.
